What's included?

This booster training is designed to strengthen Registered Behavior Technicians’ skills in responding effectively during behavioral crises. While initial crisis training often focuses on procedures, this session reinforces real-time decision-making, safety priorities, and professional response under pressure. Participants will review escalation stages, immediate safety actions, and appropriate in-the-moment communication strategies. Through guided scenarios and reflective questions, RBTs will practice identifying early warning signs, selecting appropriate responses aligned with behavior plans, and maintaining professionalism during high-stress situations. The booster also emphasizes post-crisis responsibilities, including objective documentation, supervisor communication, and rapport repair. This training supports consistent implementation of crisis procedures, promotes staff self-awareness and emotional regulation, and reinforces the primary goal of crisis response: maintaining safety while preserving therapeutic integrity.
