This CEU event is designed for behavior analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other educational professionals working with students who exhibit high-intensity behaviors in school settings. These students often lack formal diagnoses but display behaviors that challenge traditional classroom management strategies. This session provides participants with a structured approach to managing such behaviors by addressing the unique antecedents, reducing demands, and gradually increasing expectations to support student success. Also included is an in depth discussion on how to support staff directly working with these students. Through these discussions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of reinforcement strategies to balance behavior reduction goals with the practical realities of naturalistic environments. Case examples, data-driven approaches, and clinical applications will provide actionable insights for assessing reinforcer value and response effort.
